Dodge Dart returns after 36 years

GasBuddy Blog -- It certainly doesn't look like any Dodge Dart you might remember. Earlier this year the Chrysler Group unveiled the new 2013 Dodge Dart that is expected to go on sale later this summer starting at $16,790.

The Dart is available with three engine choices: 2.0-liter and 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engines and a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine. It will be built in Chrysler's Belvidere, IL plant.

Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne says the company doesn't expect to make much money on the stripped down version of the Dart, but he's optimistic that buyers drawn to the car will be enticed by the options.
