This is going to be overwhelmingly a regular gas response. Are we having a question shortage again?
I'd love to answer Diesel, but for some reason beyond the scope of typing here, USA and Canada don't have many diesel vehicles available to them.

I normally use regular in three of my cars. One has a ZZ4 which uses premium. I've experimented using higher grade gas in my others and it didnot seem to give any improvements in mileage or perormance. I even tried some no ethanol gas, but at $3.19/gallon, a 60 cent premium just wasn't worth it.

I have a 04 Dodge Ram w/ the Hemi engine , the manual calls for mid grade gas but I buy from Sam's Club op for the premium. I can use regular but it make it runs like an old dog. The other vehicles use regular with no problems.

With ethanol in regular gas you are losing big time...My car gets 5-6 mpg better plus better performance. Try it out

I find it interesting that with 15,000 + responses E85 is at 0 percent. That is the amount it should be since it is a very bad purchase. Too expensive, lousy performance, and equally poor fuel economy.
Next we need legislation to get rid of E10/E15/E20 which reduce economy / performance by the proportion of ethanol present. They might as well put in water.

We use Diesel.... With the prices as high as they have been the only choice is our VW TDI. With the 50+ mpg its the only thing we can afford.

Regular--one of my vehicles instructs premium only, but I put in regular & it runs just great. I'm guessing the computer adjusts accordingly.

Im fortunate in that there are three stations in my area that sell "real" gas (NO ETHANOL) and I use it in all three of my vehicles. I definitly notice a drop in mpg when Im forced to buy ethanol fuel. Drove to Florida a month ago (from Okla) and I had an appreciable drop in mpg due to having to buy ethanol tainted fuel. So my vote is for No Ethanol Regular grade gasoline.

Two vehicles, both run on "regular" whether it be 10 % Ethanol or not (more than likely is) Neither is setup for a higher concentration of ethanol. No conversion to LP or CNG is on the horizon either.

My various vehicles are powered by different methods. The Cornucopia takes produce right off the stand, The Airland Boatmobile uses a special blend of jet and marine fuel. And the solar car gets its power from the sun.
